The main objectives for which the SCI is established are:
1) To dedicate the organization with a view to promote, foster and exchange different facets of art and culture.
2) To form a network of Clubs affiliated to SCI in different geographical areas.
3) To make the community conscious about the importance of good culture, to bring quality to life and promote good citizenship.
4) To organize programmes of music, dance, drama, literature, art, painting, folk arts, etc.
5) To establish educational institutions imparting the knowledge in music, dance, drama, literature, art, painting, folk arts, etc.
6) To provide a forum for dedicated young men and women in the field of art and culture in order to promote their talents.
7) To appreciate and recognize the life long services rendered by the artists of yester years.
8) To organize symposiums, debates, seminars, conferences, conventions, etc.
9) To strive towards achieving ethical stand and quality life.
10) To reach an ultimate goal of forging cultural friendship among the people of the world.
